So we know that accepting Hook’s help, using the bean, etc. is huge sign of trust, right? By that one action, Hook has proven himself to be different from anyone else Emma’s ever met.

Can you imagine all the hoops she’s going to (unconsciously) put him through while they’re in Neverland? Cause, yeah, deep down she knows he’s trustworthy now. But she’s been so battered and so broken that she’s not gonna let herself believe it (especially if certain people are cockblocking whispering about pirates, blah, blah, blah).

So, yeah, many, many hoops. And since Killian knows her so well, he’ll just roll with it. Until one day (after he’s saved her life a time or three) he’s just done. He calls her out on the BS. They’re probably alone in some forest or something. And he essentially tells Emma to put up or shut up. That either she trusts him or she doesn’t. And Emma will be forced to face the fact that YES, she does trust this guy, more than she’s ever trusted anyone, especially since you know who.

And it will be glorious. And we will all die of feels. Then they kiss in the rain.

I really wish I wasn’t going out of town this weekend. I just want to vomit all my CS feels in the form of fic. ;)

Who knew that when 2x05 aired I would end up shipping the greatest ship ever! I mean people would say it’s just a crack ship and it probably won’t happen but look at us now? So many people ship Captain Swan and they’ve only interacted in 6 episodes. The media constantly talks about them and they are going to Neverland together where they are literally TIMELESS.

I know. I just saw that in the tag and needed to vent. Thank god for Adam. Like I said the other day, he’s much more patient than I am. ;)

And then insults us by mocking our supposed lack of reading comprehension skills. And now I need to rant. You’ve been warned.

Saying that the only reason CS could happen because Neal is “dead” is stupid. One, CS had a connection BEFORE Neal was even back in the picture. Two, Neal was engaged to be married not 5 minutes ago. Very happily. It’s not Hook’s fault that Neal’s fiance was a cray cray magic hater. That’s just KARMA. Three, he only said I love you after Emma did…again. That’s not screaming True Love at me.

And let’s be real, Neal still has NO IDEA the depths of what he did to her. That kind of hurt can’t just be forgotten; it’s affected the very fiber of who Emma Swan IS. She may love him still (and always will, first love and all that), but that doesn’t mean that they can work as a couple NOW. Hell, she hasn’t even truly forgiven him yet. And now she can’t because she thinks he’s dead. So if you think she’s just going to rush back into his arms romantically when he turns up again, then I don’t know what to tell you. To even be viable parents to Henry, they’ve got a lot of shit to work through still. A real romantic relationship needs built on trust and Emma and Neal don’t have that. Him saying “I love you” doesn’t make their inherent issues just go POOF.

Things are going to happen in season 3. Emma will get closer to Hook, the one person who understands her…all of her. Understands what she’s been through and who that has made her. Snow and Charming, bless them, don’t get it and never truly will. But Hook does. And the latent feelings THEY ALREADY HAVE for each other will start to blossom. He’s helping her find the most important person in her life for Christ sakes. (Newsflash, that’s HENRY, not Neal.)

I firmly believe that Neal will make a play for her when he returns. He feels guilty about what he did and he IS Henry’s dad. And there are still feelings there. But I also believe that there are things that simply can’t be fixed. Not by the person who broke them. I firmly believe that Emma needs a fresh start in love. I think that can be Killian Jones. Period.

Oh and incidentally, that quote? It’s the SAME quote, just put in different articles by the POOL of reporters who heard it. That doesn’t give it any special significance. It’s something Eddy said ONCE, not five thousand times. We just keeps seeing it in various articles because all those journalists are pulling from the SAME source. How’s THAT for reading comprehension skills?
